Hello, I’m an art and science educator with a passion for making art that explores the intricacies and absurdities of the biosphere (humans included). I grew up in the Blue Ridge mountains of Western North Carolina. In 2014 I moved to the piedmont and studied biology, education, and creative writing at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After graduating in 2018, I stayed in the area and taught science for three years at Northwood High School. I currently teach high school art at the Carolina Friends School. I love to learn about ecology and communicate what I learn in story and art. My hope is to nurture community and healing through cultivating wonder for all the connections that surround and sustain us.
